I am often asked, "Is it too late to start a skincare routine?", or "Can I really expect to get results at my age?"
The answer is, it's never too late get started and you can get results at any age!
Of course, we have to set reasonable expectations and understand the timeline of skin regeneration. Research has proven skin goes through a regeneration process every 27 to 42 days for adults and for those over the age of 50, it can be up to 84 days. Research also validates great skincare can be an effective way to improve aging skin by supporting this process.
Skin regeneration takes place in the epidermis where in the lower layers new cells move to the surface. Choosing high-performance products and advanced technology that supports the regeneration process can speed up the process. This is one of the reasons I love and carry the skincare brand NeoGenesis. The stem cell technology in S²RM® is proven to be effective in supporting the skin regeneration process. Research supports stem cell technology to be a legitimate avenue for returning skin to a healthy condition.
The key to getting results is to choose effective product ingredients and technology that works at a cellular level (S²RM®, PLLA, Ultrasound, Microcurrent, RF, LED), and use them consistently day after day.
Tracking your results is so important to maintaining the motivation to stick to it. The incremental changes can be missed unless it is captured and compared week to week. We cheat ourselves if we give up too soon. If we can stick to our routines for at least 12 weeks we can see our hard work pay off. The #1 way to get results is don't give up!
