How thrilling it is to be alive in the 21st century. Advances have taken place in many fields and we get to reap the benefits. One such area is age management. We get to choose how we age. This choice is a personal one. We can choose to age au naturel or we can get a little help from a well-skilled cosmetic surgeon. If you choose the later, your work isn't over. Let's explore what's next.
I'm a strong advocate for using high performance skincare products and advanced technology like microcurrent, ultrasound, LED, RF, and more. I know from personal experience this goes a long way with helping us age more gracefully. I was 52 years old before I decided to get a little help by having a mini facelift and a chin implant to improve my profile due to not having much of a chin. Many start considering this around the age of 40.
I have not hidden this choice. In fact, I share the journey on my YouTube channel. Of course, the haters came out in droves to judge me. Here's what they got wrong. Had I not been practicing what I preach by using high performance products and advanced technology, I would have started showing signs of aging much sooner and much more drastically.
The fact of this matter is, we are never done (even after a facelift) doing the work it takes to age gracefully. A facelift doesn't magically stop the aging process. If only, right! We still need to have a consistent skincare routine that includes fascia release and facial contour massage, high performance skincare products, and the use of advanced technology.
Sure, a facelift gives us a little reset but it requires ongoing skincare maintenance to hold on to the results for as long as we can. The time on the clock of aging never stops and neither does our work to take good care of our skin.
