What is Microcurrent Face and Body Sculpting?

What is Microcurrent Face and Body Sculpting?

For starters, it’s a facelift without surgery and painless body sculpting! It contains no needles, lasers, and there is no recovery time!

We’ve all seen the unnatural appearances that can result from facial cosmetic surgery, right. Now people all over North America are discovering an alternative way to achieve the same, if not better, age-defying results, and do so with a more natural look.

Microcurrent technology has changed the way we look at non-surgical facial technology because it does not rely on wounding the dermis to stimulate its anti-aging properties.

Microcurrent is a micro amount of energy applied to the face via two probes on professional units like the Jade Microcurrent Machine or smaller probes on home-use devices like the Clareblend Mini Microcurrent and the Eye Rejuvenator Microcurrent.

It will require a professional machine like the Jade to perform body sculpting. The Clareblend Mini and the Eye Rejuvenator Microcurrent devices are WONDERFUL for working on the face and neck and eyes. If you want body sculpting getting it done by an esthetician with a PRO machine like the Jade is the way to go.

Microcurrent works by energizing the areas being treated to stimulate ATP (adenosine triphosphate). ATP plays a major role in skin rejuvenation. The energy of microcurrent is transmitted through the skin to the fascia and muscles beneath the skin. This process stimulates, tightens, and tones the underlying muscles.

NOTE: Steer clear of devices that ZAP the muscles. Zapping means the current is too strong and you are at risk of facial muscle fatigue. That’s why, for home use, I love the Clareblend Mini and the Eye Rejuvenator Microcurrent devices. They do not need adjusting since they automatically produce a current that never zaps the skin.

The benefits of Microcurrent includes:

  • Reduction of fine lines, creases, and wrinkles
  • Hydration and revitalization, resulting in smoother and softer skin
  • Improvement of blood circulation and lymphatic drainage
  • Rejuvenating restoration of the “pink glow” of youthful tones
  • Visible firming and contouring, lifting overall drooping features
  • Tightening of sagging jowls, doubling chins, and fatty cheeks
  • Shrinking of enlarged pores
  • Reduction of blackheads and acne
  • Reduction of scars and pitting
  • Reduction of dark circles and puffiness under the eyes
  • Reduction of the symptoms from Eczema, Melasma, and Rosacea

All of this without redness or swelling, harmful side-effects. There is no wounding, abrasion, soreness, or pain. Your experience is a relaxing and comfortable facial massage.

How Do I Layer PLLA & NeoGenesis Products?

December 07, 2022

If you've been a fan for long, you know it's important to allow the ingredient poly-l-lactic acid (PLLA) to build in the skin to produce results. But that's not where your skincare journey begins and ends. Many of my fan's love taking advantage of the S²RM® technology in the NeoGenesis line. The key is layering these two powerhouse products properly.

Do I Need a Special Night Cream?
Do I Need a Special Night Cream?

November 30, 2022

I'm often asked, "Do I need a special night cream?" The answer begins by establishing the origin of this concept. Once upon a time the school of thought was because a day cream contains SPF and a night cream does not, we need a special night cream. However, because today's skincare offers us...

Is Fascia Release a Real Thing?
Is Fascia Release a Real Thing?

November 23, 2022

If you've been following my work for very long, you know I use a skincare protocol around certain foundational practices. One of them is fascia release. Fascia isn't fiction, my friend. It's fact. Research describes it as having two distinct components - a superficial layer and a deep layer. It exists throughout our bodies and is also within the structure of the face, neck, and décolleté. Here's why it matters.
