What is Microcurrent Face and Body Sculpting?

What is Microcurrent Face and Body Sculpting?

For starters, it’s a facelift without surgery and painless body sculpting! It contains no needles, lasers, and there is no recovery time!

We’ve all seen the unnatural appearances that often result from facial cosmetic surgery, right. Now people all over North America are discovering an alternative way to achieve the same, if not better, age-defying results, and do so with a more natural look.

Microcurrent technology has changed the way we look at non-surgical facial technology because it does not rely on wounding the dermis to stimulate its anti-aging properties.

Microcurrent is a micro amount of energy applied to the face via two probes on professional units like the Jade Microcurrent Machine or smaller probes on home-use devices like the Clareblend Mini Microcurrent.

It will require a professional machine like the Jade to perform body sculpting. The Clareblend Mini Microcurrent is WONDERFUL for working on the face and neck. You could use it on areas of the body but it would take much longer for the bigger muscle groups. If you want body sculpting getting it done by an esthetician with a PRO machine like the Jade is the way to go.

Microcurrent works by energizing the areas being treated to stimulate ATP (adenosine triphosphate). ATP plays a major role in skin rejuvenation. The energy of microcurrent is transmitted through the skin to the fascia and muscles beneath the skin. This process stimulates, tightens, and tones the underlying muscles.

NOTE: Steer clear of devices that ZAP the muscles. Zapping means the current is too strong and you are at risk of facial muscle fatigue. That’s why, for home use, I love the Clareblend Mini Microcurrent. It does not need adjusting as it automatically produces a variable current that never zaps the skin.

The benefits of Microcurrent includes:

  • Reduction of fine lines, creases, and wrinkles
  • Hydration and revitalization, resulting in smoother and softer skin
  • Improvement of blood circulation and lymphatic drainage
  • Rejuvenating restoration of the “pink glow” of youthful tones
  • Visible firming and contouring, lifting overall drooping features
  • Tightening of sagging jowls, doubling chins, and fatty cheeks
  • Shrinking of enlarged pores
  • Reduction of blackheads and acne
  • Reduction of scars and pitting
  • Reduction of dark circles and puffiness under the eyes
  • Reduction of the symptoms from Eczema, Melasma, and Rosacea

All of this without redness or swelling, harmful side-effects. There is no wounding, abrasion, soreness, or pain. Your experience is a relaxing and comfortable facial massage.

What Self-Care REALLY Means
What Self-Care REALLY Means

January 08, 2021

Do you find yourself rushing as wash your hands, or brushing your teeth in a mindless trance, or drying your hair as quickly as you can, and barely notice the face looking back at you as you stand in front of the mirror?

Sadly, the weeks and months and years go by so quickly that you might not remember the last time you stopped and REALLY looked into the eyes of the face starring back at you.

Do You Allow Your Skin to Rest?
Do You Allow Your Skin to Rest?

December 18, 2020

Let’s face it, we demand a lot from our skin. Having access to high performance products and high-tech devices is fantastic but if we get carried away, and don’t work in some rest periods, skin can start rebelling.

With pretty much anything, too much can be not-so-great for us. Using too many skincare products too frequently and/or too enthusiastically can  overwork your skin, aging it more, not less, and looking worse instead of better.
