In the early 1990s, we learned that skin can absorb LED light energy the same way plants absorb UV light energy, but without the harmful side effects of prolonged sun exposure. Since then, LED devices have been shown to temporarily increase blood circulation, treat mild to moderate skin conditions, and help individuals of all skin types achieve a healthier complexion.
