Unless you chose esthetics as your path in life, chances are you don’t know about your skin or the science behind it. That is the case for us. We work at Christine Byer Esthetics. We came into this company never having worked in the beauty industry. Sure, we have dabbled in skincare throughout our lives. Yet, nothing prepared us for Christine's amount of knowledge and information. Here, we will tell you what we learned working on Team CBE.
Markayla, in her twenties, is the youngest of the bunch. She's pictured above with Christine.
Here are her takeaways so far.
“Taking care of your skin is as important as taking care of yourself. The earlier you start taking care of your skin, the better it'll start to look as you age. Moisturizer and Sunscreen are MANDATORY.
I also learned that one side of your face can be different from the other.
Finally, get facial massages!”

Lauren, almost in her thirties, is our communications diva and she has learned so much in a very short time.
“Working with Christine is like working with a skin scientist. I never knew that our face holds so much tension and toxins that can affect the way we age. What's even crazier is that you must drain lymph nodes in your face!
There is no ageism to skin care. Skincare is something that everyone should learn in the manner that Christine teaches.
I love that I am learning preventative measures that will not only aid me in my now but in my future as well.
Not to mention, it’s a blast learning about all this. Christine has made skincare not only informative but fun.”
Lauren loves the fan favorite Anma and CBE Botanicals Fresh Face Whip. The Dr. Esthé Sun Protection Ultra Repair SPF 50 is her sunscreen of choice. “It disappears into the skin with no white cast whatsoever”, she says.
Amy recently turned fifty. She had a profound ah-ha moment when Christine told her she could get rid of scars on her face through treatment.
“To be honest, I thought my scars were there for life. I had some acne scars on my cheeks and some from a car accident. I resigned myself to thinking they were a part of me.
It turns out that’s not true. What a difference that makes to self-esteem!
Now, the sky’s the limit. I can take a role in improving my appearance and how I see myself.”
