Developed in Japan, the PA rating system was adapted from the Persistent Pigment Darkening (PPD) method. This test uses UVA radiation to cause a persistent darkening—tanning—of the skin to determine how long it takes for the skin to tan.
In theory, a sunscreen with a PPD rating of 10 should allow an individual to handle 10 times as much UVA exposure. If a product’s PPD = 8 to 16, PA = PA+++

Sits beautifully over creases . Layers nicely. Soft, pretty, flawless finish. Feels nice on skin . I only use this as foundation on my skin. I used to use the Hop Plla, but this feels to be a better updated version.
“I’ve been searching for a sun cushion that doubles as a foundation, and this one is truly amazing! It feels weightless on my skin while providing a smooth, hydrated finish. Even after hours of wear, my complexion looks just as fresh as when I first applied it. I’m so happy to have found this incredible product!”
Great high coverage SPF50. Easy to apply, good coverage but not heavy. Needed a quick facial sun screen to use while in the sunshine state this winter and I highly recommend Klavuu.
Thanks Christine for finding and offering another great product.
I absolutely love this product. Beautiful coverage with a finish that makes me glow
