“Tox In A Bottle”: Exfoliating & Firming Pads

Injection-free “'Tox in a bottle” home care? Sometimes when something sounds too good to be true, it’s TRUE! That’s the case with Hevatox!  This breakthrough K-beauty brand is one of my newest skincare lines for personal and professional use. I use these exfoliating pads as part of a multi-step firming, smoothing, and plumping system—but they work beautifully on their own, too! If you’re familiar with my approach to skincare, I prefer multitasking products that promote maximum facial rejuvenation. Hevatox pads may look unassuming, but they’re infused with powerful actives.

• SP1-NPToc: More than the average peptide, Botulinum Polypeptide is a topical lifting protein that reduces and relaxes wrinkles similarly to Botox.

• PHA and AHA: PHA and AHA work together with the ingredients below to remove debris, shrink pores, even skin tone, smooth wrinkles, and firm skin.

Gentle Daily Exfoliation

I typically don’t suggest applying two chemical exfoliators at a time, but Hevatox pads are an exception to this rule. The advanced formulation of polyhydroxy acid (PHA) and alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), is ultra-gentle and designed for daily application. It replaces your need for weekly exfoliating, but periodic deep exfoliation is still required, especially for those of us with mature skin.

Large Molecules For Gentle Exfoliation

Large molecule exfoliators are something K-beauty brands excel in. Larger molecules make Hevatox more effective and less aggressive than most chemical exfoliators. It’s gentle enough that I use it on and suggest it to clients with sensitive skin and thin skin.

Use these AHA/PHA Skin Firming Pads twice daily to detoxify, exfoliate, firm, and smooth. More is not better. If you use granular or topical exfoliators with Hevatox, it will irritate your skin and damage your skin barrier.  

“Tox in a Bottle” vs. Injections

The term “Tox in a bottle” refers to skincare products that rival Botox and other smoothing and firming injectables. It’s not the exact formulation that’s injected underneath the skin, but Hevatox contains the same active ingredient, Clostridium botulinum, along with proven anti-aging actives.

The primary advantage of Hevatox products is that they’re topical. This makes them ideal if needles aren’t your thing. Also, if you’re looking for a downtime-free way to smooth your skin or the convenience of advanced home care rejuvenation.     

For best results, use Hevatox as part of a 2 or 3-step lifting and firming system. I like to layer PLLA in between.

Hevatox isn’t the only topical Botox alternative on the market, but their firming system is like no other. If you’re wondering, the results are natural. Step-by-Step: Hevatox Skin Firming Pads Only

Step 1 Cleanse

Single or double cleanse your skin and pat dry.

Step 2 Firming and Exfoliating Pads

Glide a single pad with gentle pressure over your face and neck to exfoliate and apply actives. Flip the pad over, and glide once more. 

Step 3 Facial Serum

Wait about 1 minute, then apply your preferred anti-aging serum.

Step 4 Eyes

While your facial serum dries, apply your eye serum or cream.

Step 5 Moisturizer

Lock-in moisture, protect your skin’s barrier, and promote cellular regeneration with an antioxidant-rich AM or PM moisturizer. Preferably a formula designed for your unique skin concerns.

Step 6 Mornings

Wait about 2 minutes and apply broad-spectrum UV protection. This can be dedicated sunscreen, or UV Cushion or makeup.

Step 6 Evenings

Evening is an excellent time to apply a gentle Vitamin C Oil and other tailored skincare products. Give your moisturizer a few minutes to penetrate before layering oil.

Step 4 Gold Ampoule “Bottled 'Tox”

Yes, gold! The Hevatox Gold Ampoule contains 660ppm of 99.9% pure 24K Gold. Gold is an exciting skincare ingredient that helps actives penetrate your skin. It also boosts circulation, retains hydration, slows collagen depletion, increases elasticity, and is rich in anti-aging antioxidants.

Apply .25 ampoule, massaging it in a full circle above, below, and on the sides of the mouth. Apply an additional .25 ampoule for both eyes and around the brows. Or use Hevatox Eye Cream for your eyes.
