I have a client who when she first came to me, we got her on NeoGenesis. She loved the products and I did notice the NeoGenesis post-application “plumped up glow” on her. I was excited to see her changes on her next monthly facial. To my surprise, she looked the same. Upon questioning her about her routine I found out she was using a super emollient, oily cleanser that was completely blocking all the products she applied after she cleansed! THE HORROR! So we changed her cleanser stat. She’s looking great now!
Here are some other ways to improve product penetration.
- Double cleanse, ending with a gel-based cleanser.
- Exfoliate on the regular
- Apply serums like NeoGenesis Recovery or Booster to slightly damp skin.
- Layer properly. Apply products from the lightest / thinnest in consistency to the thickest. If you use a facial oil apply it very last.
- If you are not sensitive, light cosmetic derma rolling is helpful (0.3mm longest needle length please!)
What about those of us using HOP facial filling line products with PLLA? I get this question ALL THE TIME. I’ve got a solution for that. It’s coming THIS FRIDAY!
